- One of the 20 runners on the Blue Planete Run global team, running around the world June 1-September 4, 2007, raising awareness and funding for access to safe drinking water, which 1.1 billion people don't have. I was born in beautiful Prague in the Czech Republic, where I lived until I was 18. I originally came to the U.S. for one year... and now it's been over eleven years. I currently work at Whittier College in Whittier, California. One of the wisdoms I try to follow in my life is: "Do not speak of what you cannot praise."

Great hearing from you. Unfortunately, the mayor did not end up running with me, but that's okay, we still got a lot of press coverage for Water.
Yes, things are good. It's getting a little harder, but nothing I can't handle.
